Did you know that research has shown

kindness plays a significant role in mental health?

Studies have shown that regularly practicing kindness

releases Oxytocin aka "the love hormone", boosts serotonin

levels used in helping to regulate moods, and releases dopamine

that can give you the feeling of Euphoria, known as the "Helper's High".

        According to the CDC

1 in 5 high school students reported

being bullied on school property in the last year.

Reports of bullying are highest for middle schools (28%)

followed by high schools (16%), combined schools (12%), and primary schools (9%).

        According to NAMI

1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year
1 in 25 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year
1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a
mental health disorder each year

50% of all lifetime mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% by age 24

Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among people aged 10-34
