Save A Life

1 Year ago our son completed his ultimate Act of Kindness and became an Organ & Tissue Donor. Our family has always been big promoters of Organ Donation. Due to family circumstances, Cain and his siblings from a young age understood what organ donation entailed and each had their own choice in choosing to sign up on the registry and sporting a little red heart.

In 2010 upon receiving his driver's license Cain made the choice to to register through Life Shares campaign~

"I have a little red heart, Do you?"

Proud of my oldest son... He is now officially allowed to drive, with his mum in tow of course...lol... But I am also very proud that he also made the decision to participate in saving a life as well some day, by getting that little red heart on his license.

No parent thinks that their child would complete their pledge within their lifetime, and many are unaware of what their loved ones wishes even are. If you choose to Get Your Heart ~ get it on your license and let your family members know your wishes. We are still avid promoters of Organ Donation, and after going through the process, I can say that LifeShare of Oklahoma, have been incredibly compassionate, and I am grateful to them! This process has been a blessing through out my grief!
